After more than a decade in homebirth, we purchased a birth center—and quickly discovered that billing at that level was a whole new world. Derek and Frances, worked together with tireless dedication, refining our processes to bring clarity, efficiency, and better reimbursements for our clients. Through many long hours and lessons learned, we realized we had created something truly special.
As we stepped back and saw the time, effort, and expertise it took to make it all work, we knew this wasn’t something most midwives could do alone. Background and Experience
My professional journey began within the birth community, where I spent over four years working at the Bozeman Birth Center. This experience provided me with a profound understanding of the dedication and effort that go into every birth story, as well as the unique challenges that midwives, birth centers, and families encounter when dealing with insurance matters. My commitment to learning about the birth and midwifery process continues every day, and I am personally connected to this community, having welcomed one of my own children at the Bozeman Birth Center.
